Screw size and type

Dear all,

I have lost one screw at the rear part of the lower engine fairing. The regular metric screws do not fit.

Does someone know the size and thread type (possibly UK inch, BSW, BSF, or even American UNC, UNF?) for this countersunk screw?

Many thanks in advance,

Alf

First - I don't have a screw in this position (but have a Gipsy Engine)

If it is original, the screw will be metric.

Angus

Dear Angus,

thank you very much for your reply! I tried, but metric did not fit good enough. After trying many different screw types, a UNS 10-28 (American standard) fit perfectly. Strange...and not easy to get one.
